New Zealand has many ports, all of which has something special for tourists. Dock in the capital city of Wellington, whose motto translates to ‘Supreme by site’. Taking a ride on the Funicular Cable Car, one of the city’s most popular attractions, will allow you to get a great view of the all the sites, then when you arrive at the top, you can explore the Wellington Botanical Garden.
Nicknamed the Art Deco capital of the world, Napier has an interesting history. After being destroyed by earthquake, the city was rebuilt in the 1930’s, with architectural styles such as the Striped Classical and Art Deco design. Attractions include the Marine Parade, which includes Marineland of New Zealand, the National Aquarium of New Zealand and numerous vineyards with prize winning wines. There are also activities such as hot air ballooning, jet boating and paragliding and more for the adventure seekers.
