Antarctica popularly known as The White Continent is located in the Southern Hemisphere and temperatures range between 22 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit in summer to -24 to 5 degrees in winter. It is a cruise destination that is like no other which promises to wow you beyond your expectations. A definite must add to the list for seasoned cruisers. The extreme weather condition makes Antarctica a less favorable destination for first timers.
Most of the area is covered in white ice, sapphire blue waters and gray stone. Wild life lovers will enjoy Antarctica’s variety of animals including, whales, albatross and penguins.
