Mexico borders California in the North West and Guatemala in the South. It is one of the cruise -destinations that offers a year round season. It has constant temperatures of 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. La Quebrada in Acapulco which has become less famous because of drug violence is popular for cliff diving. People usually dive from a cliff into a cove of water below. This activity is not for the faint hearted as most onlookers only catch a breath after the diver resurfaces from under water. Cabo San Lucas is juxtaposed to the sea, mountains and desert giving it beautiful scenery. There is an abundance of wildlife as well as water sports like kayaking, paddle boating and snorkelling. The ‘old town’ section of the city houses the marketplace, cathedral and the central square. One of the best attractions of this city are the open air taxis that can take you up steep hillsides for a great viewing of the Mazatlan bays and other small islands. Puerto Vallarta gives you an option for a jungle experience by taking a boat trip to Yelapa beach which is at the base of a jungle mountain. It has got great beaches popularly known for water sports and great swimming.
