Providenciales Turks and Caicos all-inclusive
Providenciales, or Provo, as it is called by natives, is Turks and Caicos’ most developed island. Winner of the ‘Best Beaches’ title from Conde' Nast magazine and the World Travel Awards for several years, no matter what end of the island you choose to visit, you will be greeted by gorgeous waters and pristine white sands, so pack all your swimsuits and sunscreen.
If you’re looking for luxury and excitement, you’ll want to stay on the north coast. Near to Grace Bay beach, the popular 12-mile stretch, you will find more of the modern developments including resorts and spas, restaurants, Provo Golf Club and many shopping facilities.
When ready to experience the more laidback side of the island, head to the south coast. Here you will find the serene scene of Chalk Sound, a large lake with striking waters and small cays. It’s the perfect place to kick back and reconnect with yourself, or that special person without distractions, or even better rent a private villa, make it the ideal vacation away from the usual hub-bub.
Some must-visit attractions include the Princess Alexandra Marine Park, or Caicos Conch Farm to get a quick lesson in conch farming on the north coast. Become more of an explorer on the south side, visiting old ruins like the sites of plantation houses at Cheshire Hall and Richmond Hill. There is also the abandoned Marina Inn nearby Chalk Sound, where you can go view the shipwrecks of old sailors and possibly find engraved stones to make your buried own treasures.
